As of 28th August 2017 Origin is only supported in versions of macOS 10.9 Mavericks and later, support for 10.7 Lion and 10.8 Mountain Lion is no longer available:

If you need to update your Mac you can do so through the App Store.

is there any way to get around this (like an old version of origin I can run) if your computer is too old to receive updates and you’re stuck at 10.6.8
