Sims 3 Error 327682:0

The Sims 3 is 32-bit and consequently will not run in macOS 10.15 Catalina. If you’re getting Error 327682:0 this will be why. You can wipe and reinstall a previous version of macOS, partition your drive, install on an external or install in a Virtual Machine. EA have announced they are working on a 64-bit version of Sims 3 for Mac but as of now, March 2020, nothing has been released or even word of an update.

  1. Hello!

Good news, the devs updated the Answers HQ page to say that they are still working on it and just running into some issues which is awesome! Looks like they’re getting the game out of Cider.

I need help though. I just purchased a refurbished MacBook Pro with Vega 20 graphics. I know we have to copy the Device ID but what do I put as the Card series? Or is the Device ID the only important part?

    Thanks for your help 🙂

    1. Oh and I forgot to say this is in relation to the Graphics Card file. I haven’t got the laptop yet but just wanting to make sure I understand what to put there when I do 🙂

Thanks for running this site, it’s amazing for Mac users like myself 😁

      1. Hello so these are the specs:

        macOS Mojave
2.9 GHz Intel Core i9 processor
        32 GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 Ram
Radeon Pro Vega 20 4 GB
        Vendor: AMD (0x1002)
        Device ID: 0x69af

Just concerned that it won’t understand the Vega series if I put that next to the device ID ><
